The Role

As a Diesel Mechanic, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing a variety of trucks, mobile plant, and equipment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing regular servicing, inspections, and repairs.
  • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system issues.
  • Conducting preventative maintenance to optimise equipment performance and lifespan.
  • Using diagnostic tools to identify faults and recommend effective solutions.
  • Collaborating with team members to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Upholding strict workplace health and safety standards.

About You

We’re seeking candidates who bring:

  • Recognised trade qualifications as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.
  • A strong eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and a collaborative, team-focused mindset.
  • A commitment to safety and adherence to industry standards.
  • Flexibility to handle on-site tasks, including occasional weekends or emergency callouts.
