About the job
- Analyse financial statements, variances, and trends to provide insights into the corporation’s financial performance.
- Provide financial analysis on grant and funding opportunities, ensuring alignment with the corporation’s goals.
- Collaborate with the organisation’s Program Managers to develop annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance, providing variance analysis, identifying areas of concern and opportunities for reallocation or cost savings.
- Provide detailed financial modelling, projections, and risk assessments for the various investment options and scenarios.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of potential investment opportunities, including property, commercial projects, joint ventures, and partnerships.
About the manager/team
This is a newly-created permanent role due to the planned expansion of the organisation. You will report to the Finance Manager.
Skills & requirements for the role
You should possess a Bachelor’s degree Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field, with proven experience in financial or investment analysis. The ideal incumbent must possess high-level analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to interpret financial data, generate insights, assess risk and forecast financial outcomes. This role is well-suited for somebody with strong financial modelling, valuation and investment analysis skills, and advanced MS Excel skills.
