Network Compliance Engineer

This is a contract position based in their Melbourne office. As the roles involve working with high security networks, the eligible candidates must be Australian Citizens and eligible to get a Defence Security Clearance.

About the Role

• Develop compliance process, procedure and checklist documentation for engineering design and installations.
• Review and convert contract requirements, relevant global technical standards, Airservices Engineering Instructions (AEI), and Civil Aviation Safety Regulations (CASR) requirements into prescriptive standards for the site designs and installation plans.
• Ensure that the architectural design meets the applicable standards and regulations throughout the product lifecycle.
• Conduct internal audits and assessments to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Develop and deliver training and guidance to engineering staff on prescriptive standards compliance.

About you

• Bachelor of Engineering degree, with relevant majors (ideally Electronics or Communications).
• Experience as an engineer on large electronic systems integration projects.
• Knowledge and understanding of engineering drawings and technical procedures and the Australian electrical and communications landscape.
• Familiarity with network management and monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of Air Navigation Service Provider industry.
• Experience working with governmental Air Traffic organisations (highly desirable).
• Proficiency with network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Registered Professional Engineer of Victoria and/or Queensland (highly desirable).
