Our client is a global leader in providing drilling services, equipment and performance tooling for the mining industries for over a century. We are currently seeking a skilled Drafter to join their team on a short term contract for an exciting project. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical and/or electrical drafting within the mining industry with background in research and development with exposure to working on complex projects
About you
The client is looking for an experienced Drafter that is driven and diverse, who has a strong understanding of heavy equipment within the mining/heavy industries. It is required that you have a high level of experience using drafting software including CREO; as well as be an effective communicator and simply passionate about what you do. This role will require you to be available to start in the first week of January 2025 if not sooner.
Qualification, Experience and Requirements
- Qualified Drafter with mechanical and/or electrical background
- Strong understanding and ability to interpret design plans and drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and understanding of industry standards
- Be able to commit to length of the project
- Be located in Adelaide, SA
- Have unrestricted Australian work rights
